Bud grew up on the family farm near Marion. Bud is married to Deloris Berg. They have two children, Charles Arbeiter and Carmen Arbeiter Constant. Charles is married to Jill and they have two children, Taryn and Ben. They live in Rapid City. Carmen is married to Randy and they have three sons, Timothy, Daniel and Joel. They live in Aurora, Colorado. Bud graduated from Marion High School and started farming. He served two years in the army. Bud is retired from farming but still lives on the farm. Bud and Deloris attend the First Church of God in Marion. Bud has served on the Tieszen Memorial Home board since 1984
